 Make sure external hull zincs have been 

checked or replaced, Prop  checked, Bow

and Stern thruster zincs replaced, blades

checked and replaced if necessary.

Make sure "All" batteries are fully 

charged prior to launch date.

Make sure "All" thru hull valves have been

 lubricated with Blue Grease and then

 shut off( closed).

Check all thru hull hose clamps and 

 Turn on and test all bilge pumps

and AUTOMATIC float switch 

operations prior to launch.

Check all fluid and coolant levels in

engine, transmission and generator.

Make ready shore power cords,

 lines and fenders. 

Make sure you "BURP" the PSS shaft

seal after launch.

We all know that when an accredited survey

specialist steps on your boat, there will be

much testing and evaluating of all systems

involved. Our goal is to remove as many of

the "unknowns" prior to that selling time as

possible, taking care of many of the items

that might hinder a sale from closing  quickly.

The new owner would have less resistance in his/her purchase knowing that the vessel in 

question is in favorably maintained shape with very few if any repairs needing to be

addressed.

Many times at the commissioning of your

air conditioning system, even though the 

thru hull is open, water fails to pump thru

the a/c pump when the system is first

turned on. The word "Vortexing" is the 

term associated with this air bound

condition and is easily fixed. 

 Simply loosen each of the 5 or 6 a/c

 pump front face screws, NO MORE

 than 2 complete turns until a small

 steady flow of water is released from

 the front of the pump. You may need to

 gently pull on the pump face for water

to start flowing. As soon as water flows

 re tighten all the screws, pump should 

start flowing water at this time upon

start up, if not, repeat the process one 

one more time. This condition is most

 common whenever the boat is taken

 out of the water and then re launched.
